The IPD-IMGT/HLA Database provides two locations for downloading information from the IPD-IMGT/HLA Database in a number a number of pre-formatted files.
FTP Directory
Data is available to downloaded from a public FTP site hosted by the EBI. The sequences are provided as FASTA, PIR and MSF formats, as well as an archive of the sequence alignments and a flat file formatted copy of the database. Descriptions of each file type is available in the documentation. The FTP site only contains files for the latest release of the database. We are aware that some institutes restrict access to FTP directories and this may not be available to view.

GitHub Repository
The FTP site data is also available from a dedicated repository hosted on GitHub. The repository can be found at https://github.com/ANHIG/IMGTHLA/. This repository contains a branch for each database release and a Latest branch which contains the most recent files as well as all compressed archives.
