We evaluated the efficacy of mycobiome analysis strategies using three NGS techniques, Illumina MiSeq, Life Technologies IonPGM, and Pacific Biosciences PacBio RS II sequencing to characterize a mock fungal community consisting of 26 species representing 15 genera.
