We present genome sequencing data of Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains for awamori brewing. Awamori is a traditional spirit (distilled alcoholic beverage) with unique flavors made from steamed rice in Okinawa, Japan. Since several flavors of awamori are affected by yeast fermentation, the isolation and breeding of yeasts have contributed to the alcoholic beverage industry.
