The nucleotide-binding and leucine-rich repeat (NLR) immune receptor repertoire of genetically diverse accessions of the wild wheat relative Aegilops sharonensis were enriched and sequenced. The NLR sequences were used for association mapping to identify wheat rust resistance genes.
