Blumeria graminis (B.g.), the causal agent of the powdery mildew disease on cereal and wild grasses, exist in several highly host specific formae speciales (ff.ssp.). Here, we created a chromosome-level assembly of B.g. f. sp. tritici isolate ISR_211 with a combination of long-read PacBio sequencing and scaffolding according to the reference genome Bgt_genome_v3_16.
