Transcriptomic study on cyanobacteria Synechocystis sp. PCC6803 and Chlorogloeopsis fritschii PCC6912 in light and atmosphere conditions that simulate those found in M-dwarf planets. The transcriptional profiling investigates the mechanisms of acclimation to anoxia and far-red light and helps to understand the potential of far-red photoacclimating cyanobacteria in exoplanet colonization.
