To generate the first complete chloroplast genome and establish it as a reference for future studies. This will involve utilising Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data and conducting Bayesian analyses to construct a comprehensive phylogeny of all Cyclamen species and subspecies. The resulting phylogeny will serve as a framework for understanding the evolution and speciation processes within this Mediterranean genus.
