Inoculate CM wild-type tomatoes with four cotyledons with root knot nematodes, collect tomato root tip tissue from 0-36 hours, and use the root tips of wild-type tomatoes as a control. Six plants were combined into one repeat, and three repeats were used for transcriptome.
