This project investigated the environmental mycobiomes in three cultured dairy facilities through analyzing ITS sequences. Specifically, this research provides a detailed examination of fungal diversity and composition on several different types of environmental surfaces within these facilities. This study also explores the ecological interactions among various fungal genera within different production areas to understand their roles in product contamination.
