This project aimed to characterize fungal endophyte communities in ungalled leaves, galled leaves, and gall tissues.

These samples are a mixture of different types of tissue from Quercus douglasii:

Leaves

Galls induced by Cynips quercusechinus

Galls induced by Feron gigas

All reads generated from these samples are of the fungal Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) region.
