A dense genetic linkage map of Brassica oleracea was constructed based on the segregation of 303 RFLP-defined loci. A population of 169 microspore-derived doubled-haploid lines were produced from B.oleracea ssp. italica (GDDH33) and B.oleracea ssp. alboglabra (A12DHd).
