Trebouxia gelatinosa cell cultures were subject to dehydration/rehydration treatments. Samples were subject to Illumina 2x100 bp sequencing; sequence data was used to generate a de novo transcriptome assembly and to investigate the molecular response of this species to dehydration and subsequent rehydration.
