Project: PRJNA253049
The genome of Metallosphaera sedula strain CuR1, a spontaneous mutant with supra-normal copper resistance, was sequenced to determine the cause of its elevated metal resistance. This strain was adapted by serial passage into increasing copper concentrations in an experimental microbial evolution experiment.
