Aquilaria Malaccensis , commonly called Agarwood, is an aromatic plant of Thymelaeaceae family. It is hghly valuable and is widely distributed in south and south-east Asia. It has been used as a medicinal plant in the Ayurvedic, Tibetan and traditional East Asian medical practices. It is also used in perfume industry and in incense making.
