Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris str. ATCC 33913. This strain was originally isolated from cabbage. The genome contains 2 different type II secretion systems for the export of extracellular enzymes such as cellulases that degrade the plant cell wall. It contains a single type III secretion system (Hrp) that is important for pathogenicity and has genes that allow colonziation and systemic infection.
