Establish the 16S rRNA gene phylogeny of Anaplasma species from cattle in the pastoral region of Karamoja, Uganda. This study may contribute to the available molecular epidemiological data on Anaplasma spp., which is fundamental towards the development of effective diagnosis and control strategies.
