13 new ZIKV whole genome sequence from the Pacific region were obtained and analyzed. These sequences were isolated from human patients in French Polynesia, New Caledonia and Vanuatu during the Pacific outbreak, between 2013 and 2015. By adding these new sequences to available seqeunces, we provide the first opportunity to map the whole Pacific region from West to East.
