Persecaria minor plant is rich in secondary metabolites, especially terpenoids and flavonoids. Many studied have showed that application of exogenous phytohormone could increase the secondary metabolites content of the plant. To explore the possible role of miRNA in the regulation of signaling pathway and uncover their potential correlation, we generate the smallRNA library of this plant with abscisic acid and methyl jasmonate treatment by using next-generation deep sequencing
