To clarify the molecular mechanism in photoperiod-dependent regulation of stomatal movements, we performed RNA sequences in isolated guard cell protoplasts from Arabidopsis thaliana. Overall design: Gene expression in guard cell protoplast was measured from SS (short day 5 weeks) or SL (short day 3 weeks and long day 2 weeks) condition plants. Three independent experiments were performed using independent plant batch for each experiment.
