Prevotella bryantii. Prevotella bryantii is one of the few fiber-degrading ruminal bacteria capable of sustained growth at low pH. Prevotella bryantii shows a distinct phylogenetic lineage that places it closer to oral Prevotellas than the other ruminal members of the Prevotella species.
