The potential for extracellular RNA as a potential biomarker for human health and disease is well-established. This study explores how extracellular RNAs vary among healthy individuals and across different sample treatments. Overall design: Blood was collected from 8 healthy donors ( 4 male, 4 female ). Plasma was separated for all 8 donors, with matching sera processed from 3. Total extracellular RNA was isolated and treated +/- Tewari PNKQ protocol. Libraries were prepared for each sample in triplicate. Two pooled libaries were generated for 1. Donors with plasma only and 2. Donors with matching plasma and serum. Pooled libraries were sequened on different lanes on the same machine in the same run. Each library was sequenced in three lanes. -------------------------------- Submitter states "We are currently working on submitting the data for these protected datasets to dbGaP, but wanted to submit the processed data to GEO in the mean time."
