The brown stomach worm, Teladorsagia circumcinta, is one of the most economically important and most common pathogenic nematodes infecting small ruminants worldwide. Although this parasite can be controlled using anthelmintic drugs, its remarkable natural tendency to develop resistance threatens the global livestock industry. We provide a complete mitochondrial genome of T. circumcincta NZ_Teci_NP, a representative of an anthelmintic-susceptible NZ field strain of T. circumcincta.
