This study explored the impact of coal gangue filling and reclamation process on the soil bacterial community in typical coal mining subsidence areas in eastern China. Taking surrounding common cultivated land (CK) as a controlling factor, high throughput Illumina Miseq 16S rRNA gene sequencing was used to analyze the soil properties, bacterial community composition and diversity in different depths (0-20 cm, 20-40 cm and 40-60 cm) of reclaimed land filled with coal gangue (G).
