5 peat metagenomes and 5 peat viromes from the Spruce and Peatlands Under Changing Environments (SPRUCE) whole-ecosystem warming experiment and its surrounding bog were analyzed to assess viral diversity, and determine peat viral community compositional patterns after two years of increased temperature treatments.
