Soils collected from La Selva Biological Station used to extract DNA and sequence 16S and ITS2 market gene libraries and analyze bacterial and fungal community composition and diversity. Study design includes soils taken from around Atta cephalotes nests, and sites were sampled at 4 timepoints surrounding a drought.
