The goal of this project was to find functional gene networks that correlate with variation among red drum larvae (Sciaenops ocellatus) in behaviors relating to predator evasion and foraging. Understanding the mechanisms underlying predator evasion and foraging behaviors contributes to our understanding of the factors that contribute to larval survival and recruitment in marine populations.
