Description
This model represents an enzyme of coenzyme F(420) biosynthesis, as catalyzed by MJ0768 of Methanococcus jannaschii and by the N-terminal half of FbiB of Mycobacterium bovis strain BCG. Note that only two glutamates are ligated in M. jannaschii, but five to six in the Mycobacterium lineage. In M. jannaschii, CofE catalyzes the GTP-dependent addition of two L-glutamates.
