Description
Gordonia bronchialis (strain ATCC 25592 / DSM 43247 / JCM 3198 / NCTC 10667) is a pathogenic, aerobic Gram-positive bacterium isolated from the sputum of woman with cavitary disease of both upper lungs. This organism is known to cause infections in immunocompromised and immunocompentent hosts. It causes bacteremia and endocarditis. (Adaptated from PMID: 15184495).
