Debbie joined the team in August 2019 and has a varied experience of administration.
As a PA for over 10 years she was responsible for the diary management of four Directors, event organising, and set up a company HR system. Following redundancy in 2008 she joined Marks & Spencer where she played a lead role in one of the company's largest ever projects. A move to Cambridge from Manchester found her realising her dream of working for the NHS, but after six years was looking for a different challenge.
As well as her role as Events Administrator for the team, Debbie looks after the diary of the head of the EMBL-EBI Training Programme, Cath Brooksbank.
