Who is this course for?

This course is aimed at experimental or bench-based researchers working in the molecular life sciences.  An undergraduate knowledge of a subject related to the life sciences would be an advantage.

This is a quick overview to the browser, designed to give you an idea of what is possible, and will not give you a full tutorial on how to do specific tasks. Links are provided throughout to other tutorials and videos that may help you.

This online tutorial is part of the Introductory bioinformatics pathway: A curated set of EMBL-EBI online courses, which provides an introduction to bioinformatics, a brief tour of the resources available from EMBL-EBI and more details about some of those resources, including Ensembl, UniProt and Expression Atlas.
