The UX design process
The user experience design process can be thought of a series of steps that go from understanding and empathising with user needs to formally releasing a product, service, or tool.
Most often, the process of designing a service or product is not as simple and straightforward as the diagram. This is because phases can blend into one another, ideas adapt and change as you continue to learn about how products are being used, or there are time and resource constraints. Also, when testing an idea with users, you may discover that your idea is not suitable and decide to start the process again with a new idea.
Despite these challenges, if you include your team in the design process, you can provide updates on your insights and findings, and help the team remain focussed on a clear understanding of the problems and goals. Also, this will mean that your team is more likely to design solutions with the end-user front and centre.
